In the month of December 2021, Mrs Ria Himmelbach, President of Manisita (Germany) visited India to inspect the progress of project “The voice” and she very much appreciated the progress of women though the project.
The various trainings like account maintenance, leadership, networking and federation training, are being provided and monthly meetings with village leaders at center level. Motive of the training is to make women aware about the functioning of SHG and networking, which look quite effective.
We are conducting village meeting of all the SHG from same village the motive of the meeting is to bring all the SHG at one platform and discus their achievement and issue so that these women get motivated and develop better understanding with each other in these meeting they also share their saving and loan …
All the SHG are regulary conducting monthly meetings where the monthly collection is done and request for loan are received and after discussions in the group,the loan is approved. They are maintaining there passbook and registers probably for which they have been provided training.
Several skill trainings to women leaders according to their interest have been provided and its a matter of great satisfaction that they are involved in some income generation activities and many of them have established their business point (shops).
Under the project “The Voice” we are targeting 1400 underprivileged women in 20 villages of Haridwar district. We have formed more than 51 SHGs and some more groups shall be fromed soon(self-help group) 10 – 14 members in each group in all 20 target villages.
